BILA MALAM JADI SIANG...

Demam Euro 2012 telah bermula sejak 8 Jun 2012 lagi. Semua peminat bola pastinya menjadikan waktu tidur mereka sebaliknya kerana mereka bakal melekat di depan kaca televisyen ketika orang lain enak di buai mimpi.  

Mengikut jadual di bawah ini, demam ini bakal melanda semua peminat bola sepak dalam tempoh hampir sebulan. Nampaknya perlawanan semua berlangsung pada awal pagi, so kepada yang bekerja tu jangan liat nak pergi kerja pulak. Begitu juga yang masih belajar, jangan tidur dalam kelas dah lah yer....hehe

Siapakah yang bakal merangkul juara Euro untuk tahun 2012 ini, sama-samalah kita nantikan kesudahannya pada awal Julai nanti.

OH...MUET

Do you know why I'm write this entry? It is because tomorrow 13 November 2010 the candidates who registered for MUET will face with that. So, my wish to all my friends or other students who will seat for that test "May all the luck be with you and wish you all the very best and great achievement in that exam".

Before that, is there any people who did not know what actually MUET stand for? Maybe they already heard but never get much information on that.

Malaysian University English Test (MUET) is a test of English language proficiency, largely for university admissions. The test is set and run by the Malaysian Examinations Council (which also runs the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia examination) and largely recognized only in Malaysia and Singapore.

There are four components in MUET: Listening(800/1)-(45 scores), Speaking(800/2)-(45 scores) ; Reading(800/3)-(120 scores); Writing(800/4)-(90 scores).

The maximum scores for each component is 45 for Listening and Speaking, 120 for Reading Comprehension and 90 for Writing, with an aggregate score of 300. The scores are then graded in 6 bands, with Band 6 the highest and Band 1 the lowest.

Band 6- Very good user (Aggregated score:260-300) Very good command of the language. Highly expressive, fluent, accurate and appropriate language: hardly any inaccuracies. Very good understanding of language and contexts. Functions extremely well in the language.

Band 5- Good user (Aggregated score:220-259) Good command of the language. Expressive, fluent, accurate and appropriate language but with minor inaccuracies. Good understanding of language and contexts. Functions well in the language.

Band 4- Competent user (Aggregated score:180-219) Satisfactory command of the language. Satisfactory expressive and fluent,appropriate language but with occasional inaccuracies. Satisfactory understanding of language and contexts. Functions satisfactorily in the language.

Band 3- Modest user (Aggregated score:140-179) Modest command of the language. Modestly expressive and fluent,appropriate language but with noticeable inaccuracies. Modest understanding of language and contexts. Able to function modestly in the language.

Band 2- Limited user (Aggregated score:101-139) Limited command of the language. Lacks expressiveness, fluency and appropriacy: inaccurate use of the language resulting in breakdown in communication. Limited understanding of language and contexts. Limited ability to function in the language.

Band 1- Extremely limited user (Below 100) Poor command of the language. Unable to use language to express ideas: inaccurate use of the language resulting in frequent breakdowns in communication. Little or poor understanding of language and contexts. Hardly able to function in the language.

Most candidates who sit for MUET do so to apply for admissions in public universities and colleges. MUET is largely optional, if considered at all, in applying for admissions in other universities and colleges in Malaysia.

Many local universities now require students to only have sat for the MUET in order to graduate, without taking into account the band achieved. But, if there have university which taking into account the band achieved to graduate. What do you think about that? Is it really good to have that condition in all university?

Of course, it's really good to help students in their future. Besides that, it also give a credit to them when they come into job's interview. Mostly, nowadays English is really important in our daily life as conjunction with the development of our country.

But what happen to the students who already finish the study but cannot be graduate because of band achieved? Is it fair to them who sacrifice came to class, made a presentation and did all the assignment very well for four year and suddenly cannot be graduate. What do you will feel if this situation happen to you?

STRESS...STRESS

What are your condition rite now??? OK or KO. Hope everyone in good condition. Anyone who feel stress??? Don't worry feeling of stress is normal thing in our life but don't make stress as your habit. It's really dangerous.

What is stress? Everyone know rite...stress is the body's reaction to a change that requires a physical, mental or emotional adjustment or response. Stress can come from any situation or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, nervous, or anxious.

When people will get stress? Stress can come anytime and sometime people not expect about that. Even you feel happy,excited during the morning but when evening come your mood already change. It means that you are in not stable of condition.

Who will get stress? Everyone will face with this situation...myself, parents, teacher, boss, staff, students and others.

Myself...when I don't know how to finish something, it made me feel quite bored. It make my mind keep thinking and thinking how to finish it. So, messier my thought to face with that.

Parents. When actually you think parents will face with stress??? I think various situation can made them feel stress mostly when they need to face with a problem's child. Besides that, about their children academic performance when teacher called them to school to discuss about that. Furthermore, when it come to money problem. If their children ask for money to pay or buy something, if there have not enough money, how they want to face with it rite??

Teachers. A lot of task they need to settle down teaching, meeting, marking the students's book or exam paper. If they cannot manage and control, they will facing with stress. The job need to be settle with little time.

Boss. When you are in this position, you will easily feel stress. Don't think you are in good rank you can easily told the lower position staff to do everything for you. You need to monitor their achievement, manage the duty equally between each staff. So, do you think holding a higher position is easy?

Staff. Finish all the task on time is the major situation that make you easily to get stress. It happen when you cannot manage which work need to be settle first, how to divide your time for each work and you will keep thinking whether you can finish it on time or not.

Students. When it come to the school or university environment, the word of stress usually point out in their mind. Why? Presentation, assignment, homework or study. How to settle down everything??

Lets think..how to overcome this situation "STRESS". In my opinion, the most important thing to avoid this situation are depend on how we manage our time for each work. We must have a good of time management. From this, people can have good condition of life. You know why, when the time have manage, it make our task and life become easy.

Besides that, in our life we must have checklist. For what, whatever we want to do, we list it according to the most important until the not important. So, we can see the flow of our task.You no need to make your mind messy with many thing. It move smoothly one by one and there have no feeling of stress.

Orrrraaaittt, enjoy your life with a blessing from God and happinness.

WHEN NOVEMBER COME...

What date is today??? Hmmm my calendar where is it??? In my purse??? oh no no...at my study table actually...hihi.

What actually in my mind when November come??? First thing in my mind L.E.A.V.E. Where do you want to go??? I feel to fly to my home rite now, meet my parents...really miss them so much buuuutttttt I need to settle down my academic project and some few assignments this time.

I already in study leave but still at my hostel rite now. Oh my academic project!!! Why it is difficult to finish??? I don't know what to write again...huhu.

One more thing, don't be too relax my dear..exam around the corner. Oh mommy, oh daddy exam fever come. Eat...book, sleep...book. Is it me?? No..I'm not that kind...I?? Last minute pattern. Don't be like that. It really dangerous k.



Three papers waiting for me to fulfill it with a great answer. Wow...already finish all the text book, note or slide??? When to start?? I don't know.

November come..it means two months to be in the new year 2011. Hmmm..time don't wait for anyone...so, this two months keep it as a precious and meaningful in our life.

THE FAILURE OF LIFE BEFORE...

Nowadays social problem among teenager is really in dangerous stage in our country. Why this thing happen??? Freedom, lack of attention, influence from peer or any else...

Today, I visit one of the Moral Rehabilitation Center in Selangor. I went there with another four of my friends to finish our task. The task need all my group members to make an interview with person who live in Moral Rehabilitation Center.

Arriving there, we gave and showed the permission letter to the staff there. Before made an interview, we needed to fill the form of permission to make a research. Just a simple procedure before interview process. Each of us needed to interview two persons to settle down this task.

What I would like to share here was my experience through this interview. I made an interview with teenager who involving in illegitimate relationship until they pregnant. So sad to hear about that. But all the things that happen cannot change anything rite???

This type of problem can happen because of many factors their self, family, environment or influence by peer. So, when going through the interview I can hear two different causes and factors that causes they became like that.

The first one is about "Cinta Internet". Do you believe with this kind of love??? Just through email or maybe chatting people tend to have instinct to fall in love. For the earlier, they just connect by using that kind of technology but after that they will set a meeting somewhere to face each other. Hmmm..that time what feeling might come?? Unfortunately, when they meet each other they forget everything God, Parents, Religion, Right or Wrong. They only see excitement in the beginning of relationship. U got what I mean rite?? When this thing happen, is it they feel guilt or maybe they want to made it again and again...finally when the head seem to get headache or maybe the physical of our body change...the women side will feel??? Fear, Scared, Sad or maybe Guilt.

The other one is about "Peer Influence". Without knowing anything, friend come and invite to join together, introduce to someone...then what happen??? Of course the feeling will change from friend to special one. When the mind set say "He is the special one", the feeling to share everything with him come...so????? The bad episode in the life begin. Feel fear to tell parents, ashamed to meet people but why after that and not before that? There have no more way can turn back after it happen and the result will be out after nine months..keep waiting...

In this situation, what situation will happen??? Suicide, Abortion or left from family...Everything can happen if the brain cannot function very well.

Who should be blame??? Man,Woman, Family or friends... My answer of course all of them should be blame. Man why didn't take the responsible....women why you loose with the handsome look and word of LOVE...parents where are your children rite now, with whom they went out...

All people must take it seriously if they want to reduce this immoral activities. Since they child, give a good care and attention to children. Teenage, behave yourself and think before want to take that kind of risk.

Praying for God, hopefully there will no any family members or my lovely friends involving and influence in this kind of problem. Have a good life consistency with Islamic Principle. AMIN.

TERENGGANU VS PERAK

Ape kena ngn tajuk entry kali ni ekh??? Macam nk tulis liputan pasal perlawanan bola sepak jer. Tapi jgn salah faham ini tak de kena mengena ngn bola sepak pun. Yang pasti entri ni nk mengisahkan tentang perbezaan antara Negeri Terengganu ngn Negeri Perak..itulah cite sebenarnya..hehe.

Baru-baru ni, saya berkesempatan untuk berkunjung ke Felda Trolak, Sungkai, Perak. Pergi ni pun atas jemputan kawan untuk menghadiri kenduri di rumahya. Kenduri sempena keberangkatan ayahnya ke Mekah pada sabtu ni. So, saya pun berangkatlah ke negeri Perak sebelah petangnya setelah selesai menghadiri kelas di universiti.

Apa yang menarik perhatian saya ialah, saya dpt rasakan yang memang terdapat perbezaannya dgn negeri tumpah kelahiranku (Terengganu). Ini bukanlah kali pertama saya menjejakkan kaki ke Perak tapi inilah kali pertama saya merasai suasana kenduri di negeri Perak.

Perbezaan pertama yang dapat di rasai sudah tentulah dari segi dialeknya. Mana yg boleh faham tu ok lah tapi kalau yg agak lain bunyi nyer tu buat2 faham je lah. Dialek ini agak pekat di gunakan terutama di kalangan orang-orang tua yang dah lama bermastautin di negeri ini. Jadi tidak hairanlah kerana mereka mmg dah sebati dengan dialek tersebut. Kebiasaannya akhiran 'a' dalam sesuatu perkataan di tukar kepada 'e'. Contoh perkataan dan contoh ayat di dalam dialek Perak ialah :-

~ mereka menjadi "kome"
~ awak menjadi "mike"
~ "mike nak ke mana" ("awak nak ke mana")

Berbeza dengan dialek Negeri Terengganu yang mana akhiran 'n' dalam sesuatu perkataan di tambah dengan huruf 'g'. Contoh perkataan dan contoh ayat di dalam dialek Terengganu
ialah :-

~ makan menjadi 'makang'
~ ikan menjadi 'ikang'
~ "mung nok gi dok makang ikang" ("awak nak pergi tak makan ikan")

Selain itu, saya juga dapat merasai perbezaan dari segi hidangan yang di hidangkan. Lauk-pauk yang di hidangkan sama je yang berbezanya dari cara masakan mereka. Orang Perak boleh berbangga dengan masakan gulai tempoyak ikan sembilang, gulai lemak cili padi dan rendang tok. Di Terengganu plk, masakan yang menjadi tumpuan sudah tentulah nasi berlauk, nasi dagang, ayam percik dan sebagainya.

Ini baru di lihat dari dua aspek, tapi sudah terserlah di situ perbezaan antara dua negeri Perak dan Terengganu. Bagi lelaki dan wanita yang akan melangsungkan perkahwinan dari dua buah negeri yang berbeza ini, perlu bersedia untuk merasai perbezaan tersebut. Ape lg agak nyer perbezaan antara dua negeri ni ??? Nak tau kena dtg Perak lg lain kali..huhu

Walaupun terdapat perbezaan antara kedua-dua negeri ini, ianya tidaklah menjadi satu permasalahan untuk kita bangkitkan. Yang penting kita perlulah menghormati perbezaan budaya antara satu sama lain kerana 'human is unique'.

BILA CUTI RAYA DAH HABIS...

As a student, what actually in our mind when we need to come to school, college or university even mood raya still in ourself??????????

First of all of course, I as a student feel like my raya not completely again and the leave is still not enough... byk lh cntik kan buat universiti sendiri.

For the first week after break, most students might think or still remind on open house, delicious dishes, kuih2 raya and their relatives. Even the lecturer teach and explain in front bla...bla...but where actually you are??? Follow the lecturer, hear the explanation or the mind fly and fly into home...huhu.

The other part, students will exchange their kuih raya each other and enjoy eating with all friends. Various types of kuih raya will be eat when the exchange process take a part.

As a student, what will wait for you after the break already end...Lets take a look :-

1) Assignments
Individual assignment, group assignment. So, be alert on that. Lecturer already explain it
early of the semester... jgn mkn kuih raya byk sgt smpai lupa dh kt assignment yg blambak2
ni.

2) Presentation

The other one that students need to face. Same with the assignment, there will individual or
group presentation too. So, lets throw out all the gossippp2 during raya and preparing for our
presentation. Hmmm..don't forget to make a slide for presentation.

3) Project Work
This is the important one for Final Year students like me. I need to settle down it before my
practicum. Of course it take a lot of time and effort to finish it. Meeting with supervisor,

checking the proposal, typing chapter by chapter, collecting data and so on.

So, to all people that holding a student status, lets doing our responsibility. Forget about raya and start finishing our task. Refresh back our mind to remember the previous topic that already learn before. Prepare and ready to face with the new topic and some new knowledge.

APPRECIATE A MAN...

Appreciation and admiration sound the same at first thought, but they are used differently .Appreciate a man for what he does, but admire a man for what he is. It is possible to appreciate a man and not admire him.

I love men. I love the way they move their straight. I love the way they will protect anything smaller and more vulnerable than themselves. I love how generous and kind they are at heart. I love their focus and direction, how they can spend hours figuring out how it all works. And yes, I love that they can lift the heavy stuff.

In order for a woman to appreciate a man she needs to develop a new view of him as seen through new eyes. The first eye is dim to his faults. The second eye sees him as the rest of the world does. But the third and most important eye sees him as only you can and appreciates him as no one else does.

To fully appreciate a man people need to get beyond the superficial things like looks, income, status and honor in the community. Work on a deeper set of values. Look for fine character traits such as dependability, honesty, generosity, kindness, faith and sensitivity that only you are in a position to notice. Become aware of his intellectual gifts and special talents he portrays.

When we talk about appreciate, people tend to say "Appreciate a woman" but what about man? Man also need to be appreciate. What might people always say "Appreciate a woman"? Maybe because the reason is really strong enough to say that woman had sacrifice to give birth, breastfeed the baby and taking care the children. However, man also had sacrifice a lot in our life and the most one he is working through sunny and rainy to give the best for his family. So, dont forget to appreciate a man too in our life.
